This beautiful handmade basket is manufactured by craftsman living in Bolgatanga and surrounding villages in Africa.
Our baskets are woven using elephant grass colored with non-toxic fabrics and vegetable dyes to generate all natural, modern colors after being dried in the sun.
Each basket has a unique hand-woven quality, so our standard sizes may slightly vary.
You can use our storage baskets while storing your towels, your child’s toys or other your necessary things.
Small – Approximately 18" W x 10" H
Medium – Approximately 20" W x 11" H
Large – Approximately 22" W x 12" H

*It takes days of labor for a weaver to make only one basket. Each basket is going through a range of processes before each is made. So, all of our handmade baskets are completely unique works of art. Please kindly be patient. We are sure that you love your basket when you receive it.

Baskets can't be packaged for gift
Baskets take max. 7-10 days to be woven to meet your requirements.
Baskets can be custom made. Kindly send us a message.
Baskets are shipped through DHL Express Ghana. A tracking number will be provided.
Please do not be surprised when you receive your basket. Baskets are flattened and wrapped in sacks when shipping by courier. This does not damage the baskets: they are resilient and durable. When you unpack your basket please simply follow forming instructions below:
Forming instructions
1. Simply dampen your basket in cold water or spray some cold water. If any avoid soaking leather.
2. Place the basket on a flat surface and use your hands to reshape the basket to its original appearance.
3. Let it dry completely. Do not keep them in wet places.
4. When it dries, it will once again be perfect!
Maintenance instructions
Keeping our maintenance suggestions in mind, you can use your eco-friendly basket for years,
1. In case of soaking, sun-dry your basket or leave it to dry at room
temperature.
2. Make sure to keep your basket in the shade to prevent color fading.
3. Easy to clean, stains can be easily removed with a damp cloth.
